Chumballs small set

The chumball, also known as a doughnut, is one of the latest props developed by B.K.S. Iyengar.

It is a rolled-up ring of fabric.

It is used as a prop under the buttocks in seated poses.

Chumballs are round in shape, like the buttocks; using them in

postures such as Baddha Konasana allows for the correct opening of the groins and relaxation of the muscles.

You can use one or two, depending on the height required.

Depending on the pose, they are also used to open the chest, support the back of the head, or position

the shoulder blades in relaxation poses or pranayama.

Thanks to chumballs, the body regains greater stability, relaxation and freedom, allowing us to go

deeper in our practice.
